How to do a quilting stitch
Quilting is the stitch used to hold layers together. It creates the texture that will make your heart stand out.
Step 1
Use 2 strands of embroidery thread.
Step 2
Thread your needle & wrap thread around the tip 3 times. Hold in place with your thumb and pull needle so it creates a quilters' knot.
Step 3
Bring needle to the front at point A
Step 4
Insert needle at point B and come up at point C. This is a quilting stitch.
Step 5
Continue all the way around your heart shape. Aim to keep your stitch length consistent.
