Get started
by making a quilters knot


Use a dab of glue
to secure paper to fabric


Centre paper
onto fabric


Trim fabric
keeping an equal distance all the way around


10mm
is a generous seam allowance


Start along right edge
before the curve


create curve shape
by basting through fabric only


Create the curve
by pulling thread to gather fabric


Use your thumb to hold in place.
Take an extra stitch to secure


Continue stitching
along the next two sides


Create the last mitre
secure with an extra sttich
